You have Got to be Kidding!
Well, again it’s money for fossil fuel that we are supposed to have ALREADY enacted in the clean air act which we as a country can’t seem to achieve. H,mmm how about we get rid of bottled water that consumes 180,000 barrels of oil? How about we get rid of the equipment blowing off the 470 mountain tops in the Appalachians? Oh yeah we need more fossil fuel! What will it take the price of water to exceed gasoline? Water is Life! Oil is a choice, gas is a choice, plastic w/ BPA that no one at the FDA wants to talk about is a choice. So do we keep on with our bad choices and live in denial? I am sure your lobbyists will not like it, we are at the tail end of the Appalachians in Ga. ya know! Will you allow Fracking in your county! I won’t, I will suffocate them with protesters, email, blogs, petitions, emails, and media. I think you need to step back and look at the whole picture. We won’t need any fossil fuel for our Japanese cars. Don’t get me
wrong, I’m from Detroit. I have many friends who have to work there. Why do we not have the emissions under control? Well, there is the money! Do you even know how much drinkable water is left on the entire planet? 1%, That’s right 1%! all the rest is poisoned or salt. How much oil is there for us to make money on! Way more than there is water at this point. Do we have to ruin everything that we came here for in the first place, Clean air, water, agriculture, RIGHTS, security. 30 % of most municipal water is for Turf grass! The rest is sucked up by us wasting it and Nestle’, Coke, and Pepsi stealing it. Do you know where Fiji water comes from? Neither does the VP of Pepsi! This is National drinkable Water week! Tap water is safer than bottled by far, check for yourself. I tell you what I will buy you a copy of Gasland! Then tell me how important it is TO US THE PUBLIC, not the lobbyist controlled government. We are the ones who put you there, we can
take you out! Check FB group No Fracking Way! these huge amounts of people are voters against Fracking. The fracking water never returns to the surface except with formaldehyde and benzene. Want a glass! Plastic, the biggest petroleum waste besides cars. Let me see how big are we going to allow the north atlantic gyre to get before we go back to glass! TProbably until it’s causing a problen with the tanker propellors! You need to get some new eyes and look around! We are all tired of political maneuvering this isn’t a chess game it’s peoples lives and well being. Oh Medicaid is killing us on costs. Take all the poisons away maybe we’ll get better! Here I am volunteering my time this week to my son’s class to tell them about water conservation, and your concerned about money for fossil fuel that causes problems on every level. So, What do I tell them never mind go buy fossil fuel stocks and think only of yourself! As the former president of the Chef
assoc. and Chef of the year, I am sure I can rustle up a few thousand more people who are tired of lobbyist controlled Government!
Open your new eyes Mr. Chambliss we are watching, always watching

Dear Mr.
Morrison :
Thank
you for contacting me regarding hydraulic fracturing. I appreciate
hearing from you.
Hydraulic
fracturing is a process that involves injecting water and other substances at high pressure into a well
in order to break up rock formations and extract natural resources to increase the yields from natural
gas wells. Currently, hydraulic fracturing is exempt from regulations imposed under the “Safe Drinking
Water Act of 2005” ( P.L. 109-58)
to protect underground sources of drinking water.
S. 587 ,
the “Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness of Chemicals ( FRAC )
Act,” was introduced on March 15, 2011, and referred to the Senate Committee on Environment and Public
Works. If passed, t his bill would re voke the exemption for hydraulic fracturing in P.L. 109-58 and required the disclosure of any chemicals used in this process.
The
quality and safety of our drinking water is important to me, as well as our nation’s ability to produce
oil and natural gas. The United States cannot
afford to continue sending hundreds of billions of dollars per year to foreign countries in order to
meet our energy needs. We should continue to safeguard our
drinking water while we appropriately increase the domestic oil and natural gas development or production.
Should S. 587 come before the Senate for consideration ,
I will keep your thoughts in mind.
